Some folks seem to thrive on believing lies. The more absurd the lies are the more tightly they are embraced/promulgated. Why is that?
Why are lies so appealing that people will believe the most outrageous of them? What is the massive defect in human beings that causes them to PREFER believing lies to believing the truth?
A couple of observations: Tell a lie long enough and it becomes the truth. People had rather believe a lie than the truth. That's why conspiracy theories flourish. And now you know why liberalism has become the negative force that it is.
You would have to ask those people that voted for Obummer a second time.
Remember such whoppers as: If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. Your healthcare costs are going to go down by $2,500/year. We have shovel-ready jobs just waiting to be filled.
