It's hard to find good and decency in the Republican party when during the campaign, so many of them did not support Donald Trump and once he was gaining popularity, they were changing and supporting him, they would do/say anything to get a Republican in office, doesn't matter if it's right for the American people. Now that he is president, some Republicans have continued to stand by him others have turned against him. Health care- John McCain- During the campaign McCain did not support Trump, then supported him, when he became a candidate. When Republicans have tried to repeal and replace the affordable care act, with many failed attempts- its difficult to find good in their intentions, so many people are living pay check to pay check, health care is SO expensive, preventive care is important and a lot of Republicans want to take it away from Americans and get tax breaks for themselves. Recently, John McCain has been ill, and has voted against his party to support health care for Americans- sometimes when it affects them, do they get it, I have hope that more Republicans will follow and vote for legislation that is best for the American people.

SIGH. Sadly I agree with your reply ally. I say "sadly" not that there is anything wrong with what you said but that what you said is sadly true. I wish it were otherwise. I wish all pols of whatever party actually worked hard to make our lives better. They work hard to make their own lives better and the lives of the wealthy and powerful. But for regular folks? We don't matter. We are throwaways once they get elected. Corruption envelopes them as does greed and self-interest. Thank you for your thoughtful analysis m'dear! :)
