Messaging friends

I can't message friends the keyboard won't pop up when I tap the text box and there's nothing in the help section. Any suggestions wecome

    I have that problem on my phone sometimes. I have found if I hit the Bold (B) or the italics (I) button it will cause my keyboard to popup.
