Do you believe in the concept of education for kids where the kids decide what they want to learn? No subjects just concepts.

For some students, the ones at the top, that would work. At the other end of the spectrum are those the have no interest in learning anything. In my 20 years of teaching, I have found that some things have to be taught as just a subject initially, then we can start in with the strictly conceptual. It is quite complex and I could write for an hour about it, but I type very slowly and would probably bore you anyway.

Public schools only teach the little lumps to sit the h*ll down and shut the h*ll up. Any other concept is an improvement.
