Why doesn't The Donald John order his company to build a golf course in Puerto Rico? It will draw the rich and famous there! Right?

Good times are a coming back or could be. What better way to celebrate a place than with photo ops of  The Donald John playing golf at his very own Trump Puerto Rico golf course? It would be GREAT PR. Public Relations for Puerto Rico ! PR for PR! It's kinda catchy! :)

Splendid idea, Rosie! Old San Juan would be a great location. Right behind its old fort wall.

Wow righty! That is absolutely breathtaking locationwise! Have you ever been to Puerto Rico m'dear? It WAS a beautiful island. I wonder if it will ever be what it used to be and if so how long it will take and how much money would be required? Thank you for a swell reply and the gorgeous graphic! :) Ever consider designing golf courses for a living?

No, I've never been. But I would like to visit if it can get back to what it was.

The most interesting part about that area in the photo I posted in my original answer, is what you can't see. Just behind all of that green is a small slum/shantytown called "La Perla". It's not even listed on any of the maps because the government don't want any tourists to wander in to it.

So it really would be quite interesting if someone did put an exclusive golf course there.

Talk about "the other side of the coin" righty! Wow. Thank you for the balancing  picture which brings us to reality. Though even living there look at that view! Happy Sunday to you! :) This post was edited by RosieG at October 31, 2017 11:41 AM MDT

I agree they have an amazing view, yes. But the downside is direct hit from hurricanes. Irma and Maria almost wiped "La Perla" out.

Oh. That isn't so great then. I dunno about you righty but I wouldn't want to live like that. Wondering when a force of nature would wipe out my city. Of course I DO live in California and we always have the threat of earthquakes. We have been promised the BIG ONE for years. I love California and can't imagine living anywhere else so I expect others think I'm foolish for staying here as I think they're foolish for constantly rebuilding after devastation in the same place! Different strokes. Thank you for your reply righty and Happy Thursday! :)
