Insecurity - not being enough for any situation - not adapting appropriately - not being acceptable, passable.
When pride occurs it a brief flash from something that took effort and turned out well - feels wonderful.
But I don't trust pride as an emotion - I think clinging to it leads into errors.
Since this is in the beauty section - insecurity - everything to do with aging, the loss of youthful looks and abilities.
Pride - still physically very healthy - fears though, because now it takes real effort to maintain it.
I feel acutely uncomfortable in a group of people I don't know.
There are quite a few things I like about myself, but I don't feel comfortable about saying them.
