Beginning next year it will be as legal as a pack of cigarettes, perhaps more so.

I use marijuana and have used it for 50 years.

I would never give this to anyone who just wants to get high.  Are you kidding?  It's a drug and it messes you up if you are careless.

How much do you smoke?  10 milligrams or 1000?   It's important.

Yes, because the war on drugs creates too many 4th Amendment abuses.

It also creates thousands of DEA jobs. Yes, politics is involved.

I think medical marijuana should be available, but I don't believe marijuana has any real benefits beyond that.

Yes it does. My wife gets stoned every evening, eats for half an hour, then goes to bed. I get the TV to myself and can text my online G/F.

    No.  They should NOT.

I use marijuana I should know.

This is a drug and it is not for everyone.

I can take a dose that would render most people incapacitated.  How does anyone know what they can handle?

It is sold by clerks.  They don't know the dosage.  It's like drinking a gallon of whiskey versus a shot of it.

It is too dangerous to just let anyone use it.

You can get in a car and kill someone if you take the wrong strain.  And now they have edibles.  You can eat a candybar and be out like a light if you don't know what you are doing.  It is too strong for anyone who has a jones for getting high to just decide the amount they want to get high with.

It should never have been made illegal.
