    Rapeseed (Brassica napus), also known as rape,[1] oilseed rape[1] (and, in the case of one particular group of cultivars, canola), is a bright-yellow flowering member of the family Brassicaceae (mustard or cabbage family), cultivated mainly for its oil-rich seed.     I know that. It is basically the same as canola oil, which was a made up name by the Canadian Rapeseed Association.
