USUALLY we the people expect a prez to do what he SEZ HE WILL. But Donald John Trump has been given a pass by his supporters. Why?

He promises a lot and delivers very little and they either don't seem to notice or care. Does anyone know why? He says one thing one day and flipflops the next then flips back again depending upon who has his ear. Currently it's definitely ALT-RIGHT WHITE Steve Bannon. Trump seems to find much value in Bannon's counsel. In so doing  Trump is pleasing the minority and scaring the majority. Now in what universe does it make sense to pander to the few and ignore the many?

No, people expect him to TRY to do what he says he will. We don't hold him responsible for the die hard conservatives, or the RINO scum. He's not a dictator.

All presidents pander to a minority. They win elections by being least hated, but they only really have the support of their base. No president has ever had a base that is a majority. It makes perfect sense to pander to a minority if that minority if right. It makes perfect sense to ignore a majority if that majority is clueless. (Unless of course if you're piece of sh*t who stands for nothing except you're own reelection. Then it might be best to just kiss centrist ass)

Most people don't count. About 20% of the population are responsible for everything that happens in politics. The other 80% might support one side or the other, but they're just spectators. They're not really in the game. It's the most dedicated minority that wins. The left know this very well, which is why they fear Trump.
