I don't get polo JakobA.  Is it the rider or the horse who is the athlete here? It looks too jumbled and noisy to be elegant and classy. Of course I have never seen a Polo match in person. It might make a difference. Can you rent horses? Must it be your own horse? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)

What I do LOVE to watch are those equestrian competitions. It is always so elegant, classy and seemingly effortless. That makes sense to me. Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday JakobA! :)

  • There is a bonding and a sense of mutual respect in combat sports that is like no other.

  • Yep.  Plus, you try and not chest kick the guy pounding your face in and then shake his hand after he does.

Golf. What other sport would a player turn him/her self in for a breach of rules? Or warn a playing partner he/she is about to.

Tennis was very classy until McEnroe came along with his foul language and arguments with referees. Oh well, it boosted TV ratings.

Roger Federer is perhaps the greatest tennis player ever (so far) and he oozes class bh. Don'tcha think? The bad boys always attract attention. I think you'll find them in all sports. I mean tennis players walk toward the net and shake hands after a match. Sometimes they hug and exchange kind words. Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday! :)
