Too much overkill. Protecting the consumer is one thing, trying to control our buying habits is an attack on our freedom.

Who tries to control buying habits? If I buy something that is defective/something that is dangerous why shouldn't I have an advocate on my behalf to make the company pay for it? Truth in advertising is a hoaxy joke. They will tell you whatever it is you want to hear so you will buy. All based on lies or many of them. Why should manufacturers get off scot-free for their inept incompetent products and untruthful claims? Why should the cards ALWAYS b e stacked in favor of the wealthy and against the ordinary gal/guy? Are you one of those really wealthy people who disdains "little people"? Seriously bh. Your reply is astonishing to me. SIGH. Thank you.
