A "Leader" does not exist in a vacuum. A leader needs people to follow him, acknowledge him, obey him. If he were ignored completely?

I wonder how long he'd last if no one paid any attention to him. No one enforced any laws or paid any attention to his Constitutional duties/rights? He ignores the Constitution. Trump tramples on it. Why should anyone use any law or rule to protect him when he so disdainful and contemptuous of the rule of the law? I don't get it.
