Because we delight ourselves in being totally ridiculous. What's the answer or solution? Short of taking a hit from a nuclear warhead on American territory, anything Trump does in retaliation will be derided and insulted to no end. So perhaps those who have led the charge against every option available can come up with something satisfactory. It's indeed one thing to point out a problem, offering solutions over criticism is something else completely. Maybe we've reached the point where we're willing to just open the gates and let the Barbarians in as was done in the final days of the Roman Empire.
