Americans have always elected the sleaziest candidate they could find. It's so hard to find someone sleazy enough that they assume they are going to give him two terms, and they would make it three if they could. Republicans have an especially hard time finding someone sufficiently sleazy. It was 1928 the last time a Republican won without a Nixon or a Bush on the ticket. That was Herbert Hoover and VP Charles Curtis.
Financial advisers are predicting the big collapse before Trump finishes his term. That means all things are up for grabs then, so it is somewhat possible for Trump to become a king. However, we have a prophecy that we call Armageddon, and the USA is blatantly absent from the story. The nation must become helpless, so what happens after the collapse doesn't matter much. Zero = Zero.
