    The only thing I've ever seen is the rollers.  They used to say that they would "break up the fat" so that it would burn faster.   I went to a gym after my first baby was born and they had a unit which I choose to ignore.  There was also a table they wanted people to lie on which had sections that moved in different directions at the same time.  I stayed away from that one too.  I've always been more of a bicycle/treadmill kind of gal.
