I do my utmost to make everyone I love hate my guts. IT is for their own good.

That was Annette Funicello. A mouseketeer from the Mickey Mouse show back in the 50's and she DID look a lot like me.

I remember walking home from school and this little girl came up to me and said:  You look like that girl from Mickey Mouse.

So, I know I am right.  That proves it.

I saw that at the show.  My excuse?  I was at a drive-in with my parents.

  • No, I'm a lot of things,  but I'm not  a pussy when it comes to telling someone I don't want to be with them. I wouldn't make someone purposely hate me to push them away to avoid  conflict. I might make them wonder why they were ever interested though... that's different, not a pussy.:)

  • Good answer, but that's not quite what I meant though one way it could be interpreted..  So it's still a good answer.

Mills and Boons novels are always mushy romances, the hero or heroine usually tries to create a rift and pretend not to love;)) This post was edited by Veena.K at December 4, 2017 7:10 AM MST

Never heard of this.  But I get it now.  Like Harlequin Romances or somethng like that which I NEVER read.
    EVER

I am not into starry-eyed romances.

I'm so glad you have this relationship.  I hope it lasts forever.  It is a lot of work, but if anyone can hold it together, it will be you.  You have strong love of family, I imagine he does as well, and you have the same core values.  That is everything.
