Asking questions causes no harm. Actions do. Some get very angry about questions but not actions. What is wrong with them?

They don't want to hear.  It is unpleasant and it is complicated.    They want to play in the sun (until there is NO sun).   I think people think they can do nothing about it (NOT TRUE AT ALL) and so, they just pretend that this jerk is no worse than any other jerk.

Since people who are not interested in the importance of who rules, they think that Trump is no worse than Bush or Clinton or the Dreaded HILLARY who has really done nothing except get blamed for Benghazzi.

That may be horrific? But that is ONE day in Trump's atrocities.  Compared?  No comparison.  So that is the automatic knee-jerk.  Don't tell me about Trump WHAT ABOUT HILLARY???

I mean how do you even try and talk to people like this?   We have one faction that just wants to deny and the other who doesn't want to even know. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at December 7, 2017 4:47 AM MST

Thank  you for your thoughtful analysis Sharon. Which is worse? Denying or indifference? I dunno. Both suck. Happy Thursday! :) Oh. This makes for a very good question. I shall give you blind attribution.

Your premises are absolute, therefore, faulty. Questions CAN cause harm. Example: "HEY, Nutinyahoo, don't you think moving your Capital to Jerusalem is a stupid idea?". Actions can be helpful "I donated $250 to St. Jude's."

I do like that organization because of Danny Thomas and all.

Now that was sarcastic.  I think you are great for doing that.

He was from here. We even have a park with his name. He lived in the North end near Jamie Farr.

We disagree. So what?  What else are you going to bring up that misses the point of the question completely? Getting angry over a question and not caring  one whit about the subject matter is crazy. You choose to react as a Republican ALWAYS reacts. Skirting the point completely and  focusing on the tertiary aspects. I ask a question about a potentially treasonous  action. The reaction is to the NERVE of my asking the  question not the treasonous action. That is the not the reaction of sane rational logical intelligent people. In my opinion. Questions do no harm. The actions being asked about do much harm. You disagree? Be my guest. Thanks and Happy Thursday.

This is too black and white, Rosie.  That's all.

Questions can do harm.  Just because everything is NOT an absolute.

You cannot tell me that no where in the world is there no harm in asking some question.
In your case?  Not doing any harm.

Your answers can be construed as ascerbic to some.   If you dish it out, you should take it.  That's all that is riling people on here I gather.

It doesn't bother me because if I don't take it after all the dishing out I do, I would be a laughing stock on here.

    Just don't get so darned P. O.'d.

That's like saying "get over it". Well we are whom we are and react as we react and say what we think and take any of the sh** folks dish out for it. But we don't stop. We carry on undeterred because we cannot do otherwise..or rather we can do otherwise but refuse to be cowed and bowed and upset. I guess. Maybe. Perhaps. One never knows.

What WAS the point of your question? I answered it fairly and logically. I can't believe I am even defending it. What is with the treason thingy? I didn't see anybody's name. And you know I will answer any obtuse questions with literal and logical answers. And not just yours. Get over it.

Asking questions is how we learn.
We learn so that we may properly guide our actions.
Unfortunately, many times our actions show that we should be asking a lot more questions.

((hugs)) Precisely the point Shuhak. The typical usual ordinary anti-anti-Trump folk always ignore the point I'm making and focus on the tertiary aspect.  I ask a question about a person who commits a potentially TREASONOUS action and these  folks get angry at the NERVE of me asking and don't say diddly about the bad guy doing the bad stuff that CAUSES me to ask the question. Now is that the reaction of intelligent, reasonable, sane, rational, sensible people? NO. It is the reaction of those who like the way things are and get really ticked off at people like me who keep telling them that their emperor is NAKED. I would give up but I can't. Every day the evil Donald John does more bad stuff I am obligated to comment on. Apparently it drives his worshippers crazy. In their eyes he does no wrong. They do not give a rat's A**  that he is more devoted to Putin, the leader of a dangerous hostile enemy nation than he is to the old, the poor, the ill American citizens. Anyway I appreciate your input and feedback. We seem to be on the same page about everything so far only you are more articulate than I and I always welcome and appreciate your contributions. SIGH. We will both carry on. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday m'dear! :)

It is the reaction of people who would like to talk about something other than what you do as is shown by the fact that all you do is ask.  Then answer your OWN questions.  That is fine, but this site is geared to sharing the queue and you don't do that.  You don't join in and answer any one else's questions and you take over the site.

You do.  Own it.  Stop crying about it on a weekly and sometimes daily basis and you won't have to rail at the moon about mistreatment.

No one makes me feel like people make you feel and I get told off all the time.

You need to stop being so self-centered when it comes to this site.  Breathe and let go and join in with the rest of us.  Take the stick out.

That's why you get criticized.  I think I could come on here and just talk to you, but not everyone else shares our tastes in what matters.

You didn't even mention trump. Are we supposed to guess? Are we to assume ALL of your questions are about him?
