    Well, because the Constitution protects the innocent.  As in "HOW ABOUT THE MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE ACCUSED UNJUSTLY?"

    Believe it or not, as hideous as child molesters are?  And you are right, they are so far, incurable?

    It has become a favorite passtime now for husbands to be accused of this by wives who want them gone and by women crying rape because they need to lie about something.

    So while it is so important to keep them off the streets or away from kids, we have to protect the innocent from this kind of outing.

    Oh yeah, I am not sure that all pedophiles cannot be rehabiliitated.  I don't want to take any chances if they have committed the crime, but it would be great if we could open our minds about it and find a better solution.
