How about saying rather than this: Does the bottomline punchline of a joke ever know he is the butt of it? Anyone gonna tell him?
We know that there are people who never seem get the fact that they are the BUTT of the joke. They think they are on top of things as a rule. What does it take to wake these people UP?
Something like that. Something that people can answer.
