Look at how many people watch television and accept the information that comes from it as truth. If the majority believe it’s true then it must be true, independent thought isn’t required.
Exactly! In fact independent thought is feared/excoriated/vilified/attacked! There is a group who believes anything and everything a certain prez sez. They believe all truth resides within him and so they cleave unto him for fear of being tainted by "lies". They will not change because they are so certain he is their only hope. Then there are the others. SIGH. Used to be a time when truth, excellence, honor were good things to be aspired to. Now? Well now they are not trusted. Go figger! Thank you for your reply Gk.
