When are you guaranteed to not care?

when someone expects everyone else to do everything for them. My brother is like that. If he has a problem he tries to unload it onto other people instead of dealing with it himself. It’s gone on for so long that I have stopped caring. To continue caring would be enabling him to continue dodging responsibilities

There are no guarantees.  A really lovable idiot can make me care in situations I otherwise would not.
