What was ASTONISHING about it? You evidently have little or no understanding of how to handicap a political race. Jones was FAVORED to win. As was reported on all networks last night, With the credibility of the GOP candidate destroyed and the inner city turn out being in huge proportions,this was the only possible result. I predicted it on this very site days ago. I also predicted there would be Hell to pay in the long run with the loss of the Senate. Your lack of understanding of these people and their politics(As evidenced by some of your recent questions) is what we'll call ASTONISHING. Meanwhile, congratulations to Doug Jones and the national conspiracy to dump the president. We hope Jones realizes that he can be undone as quickly and as easily as Moore was. While we are magnanimous in defeat, we also send our sympathies to the people of Alabama who lost their Senate seat for the next six years with Jones dancing to the tune of those from outside the state.
