I may be the most important person in my entire family history.
Family photos go back about a hundred years. My grandparents when they were kids. I have no idea about the generations before them. What they looked like, what they sounded like. But thanks to today's technology and social media, everyday of my life can be documented and available for my descendants to view for the rest of eternity. I can't go back 1000 years and look up my ancestors, unfortunately, but my great-great-great-great grand-kids and so on and so forth will be able to do it with me. Sure they can look at photos of my parents and grandparents, but I will be the first fully fledged common relative in HD. As long as i'm loving, live a good life, make good choices, and lead by example, I will be the family hero forever. The champ!
