If you've been carrying around someone's dark secrets, do you keep them even after a betrayal or carry them to your grave?

I keep them even after a betrayal and will through my death. 

I try to not take in people's secrets. I try to forget them. I don't want to know. It's none of my business. But, yes, to the grave.

Are you asking will I take someone's secret to my grave?  Yes.  If they entrusted me not to tell, absolutely.  I would not betray that.  If they betrayed that trust and they are the one guilty of whatever crime, good or bad, yes.  I still believe I would hold to my word

I've never had a problem with doing that.  But then, I haven't been told any particularly dark secrets.  Or if I did, they didn't seem that bad to me in the first place.

What's the saying?---"You're only as sick as your secrets."

I don't tell people's dark secrets.  I might mess up a surprise party though.  Not on purpose but just because of letting guard down.

I've had more than a few friends for over 55 years. I've known their secrets as they did mine. I would never reveal what was told to me regardless of the situation. I've probably forgotten more than I remember.
