Those are death rattles from CHIPS and the AHCA. Next year you will also hear death rattles  of all social safety net programs as the Ryan and the McConnell and the GOP have targeted them for annihilation. How will YOU celebrate the new level of GREAT as the donjohn Makes America Great Again? In a black shroud crowd on the steps of the White House where all the GOP are drunk with glee at their grand success at the expense of the less grand? Hooray. Yea. Whoopee. Yippee Aye Oh Kayay! :( Let the good times roll.

    I doubt that will happen. The AHCA needed a sword ran through its heart. It was expensive, unconstitunal and didn’t give the best coverage. It was criminal to fine people for not having something they couldn’t afford to begin with. This now paves the way for something better and legal to take its place.

    I just heard Paul Ryan say (on CNBC) that in the extended funding of the government, he wants a straightforward funding bill. This would fund CHIPS. 
    Now, if the Dems refuse to pass it and prefer to play politics and shut down the government....shame on them.
