Something pretty bad would have to happen for me not to eat it. Being inedible would mean I need to try something more simple,  I prob wouldn't try the same thing again.

  • I started to mash the potatoes and they weren’t cooked enough. It was a disaster. Raw potato isn’t nice. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at December 26, 2017 5:24 PM MST

I don't think I've ever stopped cooking in the middle of a meal. I can usually work with something and make it edible. In the rare occasions I don't like how it turned out, I'll eat the other parts of the meal and/ or make different dish to go with the good parts.

Usually I eat it anyway. OK, not if it is all burnt to charcoal, but if it is possible. That is my lesson ;-))

bake 1 hr in oven @...
I remember it two hrs later
    burnt to a crisp
    ...so at that point
    whatever is around will work
    not a big deal
    just me.
    a sliced tomato will work...LOL

  • Start again.
We live too far from town to make take-aways viable.
