We have memories of past events with family/friends. Ever have memorable brief moments with strangers whom you never will see again?

I've had more than a few in my life and I usually don't get their names or if I do I have forgotten them. But I remember the faces and encounters fondly. I have heard that "there are no accidents". If true that means everything is meant to be? I dunno. What do you think?
