    Jim was born in Texas and they're kinda big there. He loves them. I can take them or leave them but I always eat some anyway. What could it hurt? May your luck continue to be "just fine" in the new year. Thank you for your reply and Happy New Year's Eve Sunday tom.

    It's big in Texas which is where Jim was born and it is supposed to bring Good Luck in the New Year if you have them on New Year's Day. I have a can on the counter just so I don't forget for tomorrow's meal which I have no idea yet what it will be. Happy New Year's Eve Sunday m2c and thank you for your reply. Jim loves them.     We had them two nights ago!  Isn't it ironic that I, a northern girl, make and eat them while my quite rednecky Southern cousins won't touch them?
