The human body constantly produces small amounts of alcohol itself. Normal levels of 0.01 to 0.03 mg of alcohol/100 ml are contained in the blood. By contrast, a blood alcohol limit for driving of 0.05 per cent is equal to around 50 mg of alcohol/100 ml of blood.
Maybe a defective gene (he obviously has a few) cause his body to produce much more and he actually always is drunk.

I did not know that tom. I know that the body produces cholesterol regardless of what you eat so I guess it makes sense it can also produce alcohol. There is something clearly interfering with his brain function. He is not "normal" and being drunk 24/7 could be it. He rarely makes sense. He is inconsistent. He'd rather lie than tell the truth even for the least important things. There is nothing normal about the guy in my opinion. He is ab in every regard to our great misfortune. Thank you for your thoughtful and VERY INFORMATIVE reply. I think his body is filled with defective genes. And the defects keep breeding like rabbits! :)
