I'm not sure about their reasoning, but this is mine.
Trump is not as fiscally conservative as I would like. He has statist tendencies. He's a bit of a populist and will try to be all things to all people. He will cut taxes but probably not cut spending.
I'm past caring because I've given up hope of averting a financial collapse. I consider that inevitable whoever is in office. The task now is not to save the economy, but to save the culture. Trump is a massive f*ck you to cultural Marxism.
Trump is the only politician who has had the stones to stand up to it. Most conservatives pander to it because they're afraid of being misunderstood and smeared as mean, racist, sexist, xenophobic, etc etc. Trump doesn't give a damn and that's what leaders are made of.
All that really matters now is that a culture of liberty and individualism is still intact after economic collapse. Economies can be rebuilt. Though once a culture collapses it takes generations to recover, if ever.
