Why is it that many folks are not offended by what the donjohn does/says but angry when anyone points it out, questions it ?

You see someone set fire to a house. You report it. Are  the people angry at the arsonist? NO. They get angry at you for reporting it. How in the he** does that make any sense?

With all respect Rosie, you do not 'merely' 'point it out' you add a lot of outrage and a lot of conclusions that goes far beyond the evidence (if any). That rather weakens your case.

I editorialize. I loathe the man JakobA and have never pretended otherwise. Your reply doesn't address the point. They don't give a rat's a** about anything he does/says that hurts others. They always defend him no matter how vicious he is. That is the core issue of what I am saying. They ignore that and focus on the editorializing which in no way mitigates the atrocities of which he is guilty. They adore those folks who compliment him and see him as they see him. They detest those who don't. The core issue is always avoided. They never address it. Never. Ever. So I ask of you WHY is that? Set aside everything else but the fact of what he does/says that is so hurtful/harnful to the powerless. Why are they NEVER outraged on behalf of those he hurts/harms/insults/attacks/demeans/derogates/disenfranchises/destroys/deserts/desecrates? SIGH. Thank you for your reply. So this is the question you thought of while responding to me this morning?  That's a real stretch, Rosie, as I displayed no anger.  I merely asked you a question regarding your own obsession with Trump following your claim, which you dub "reporting", that Trump's obsession with Clinton amounts to "lust".  A fair question, imo.

To say that someone is obsessive is a judgment call and not necessarily a bad thing.

Personally, I'm hoping some of those obsessed cancer researchers are successful.

Indeed, but my judgment was limited to the observation of the obsession, not a ridiculous attribution of its cause.
