Nonsense. Why would anyone want to be like something they don't respect? The only disrespect in copying something is if someone claims to have created it, e.g. violating copyright / patent law etc etc.

The left pushes this kind of concept to divide society. It comes up with bullsh*t terms like "cultural appropriation" because it hates it when different groups embrace aspects of each other's culture.

It tries to strengthen the cultural identity of minority groups by prohibiting others from copying them. In this way the minorities will remain culturally separate and it's easy to tell such groups they are marginalised and oppressed. The left is desperate to avoid real cultural integration. It's always about stoking the discontentment with the left. That's its M.O.

But please have some mercy on us.  We are not all capable or being inventive enough or imaginative enough that we can all be completely original.   So many of us find things in others we would like to be and do and use those.  Which I think is natural.
