Since they claim they are the ones which are creating the jobs, but aren't those who have to pay them also creating jobs and doing important things for the economy?
As far as I'm concerned, corporations shouldn't exist. Period. They are appendages of government. There's no practical difference between GM and the Department of Transportation. They're chartered by government, given the status and rights of 'persons' by government, and those rights are protected BY government--often at the specific expense of individuals who normally DO (or would) have rights.
Corporations are NOT, repeat, NOT capitalist entities. They are GOVERNMENT-created business collectives. I always get tickled when I hear statists going on about the ills of corporations while expecting the government to keep them in line. Why should the government ever keep itself in line?
...Oh, and while I'm on my soapbox, guess what you call "corporate taxes"? Answer: a double-dip tax on the stupid. Hell yeah! Let's tax Micky D's corporate profits. Micky D will just pass the cost on to...guess who. Got it yet? :-)
