Carl Higbie, former Navy Seal and Conservative radio talk show personality, was appointed Chief of External Affairs for CNCS ( Corporation for National and Community Service), a federal government volunteer service organization. He just resigned for having made comments that are racist/sexist/anti-Muslim/anti-LGBT. So here's the question. Is what you say about how you feel sufficient to get you fired or cause you to resign? If so why isn't that same rule applied equally to everyone in government? Why are there exceptions?
