What was your favorite candy bar as you were growing up?

Mine was Three Musketeers. Still love them today.

We didn't have candy bars where I come from :P So what's a candy bar anyway? Is it chocolate or can if include any confectionery that comes in a bar shape?

It was called the Seven-Up bar and was made by Pearson, a local Minnesota company. There were seven different flavors all in one bar and covered in chocolate. It was like having a little box of chocolates. They stopped making it in the 70's Now my favorite is also by Pearson's - the Nut Goodie. I think both of those candy bars were only distributed locally. but they do make some candy that you can get anywhere.

Milkyways.  Used to love them.  And if I went up to Canada, they sold "Aero" bars that were plain chocolate bars with air bubbles in it.

I don't know why, but I seem to enjoy posting candy today for some reason.

    Bear with me.

I'm trying to post interesting ones.  My favorite candy were those Dutch Chocolate, Dutch shoes.   They were miniature wooden shoes that were imported Dutch chocolate.   Van- something was the company.

Anyway, I cannot seem to find that pink box, and it was 55 years ago or longer.   I like these too much too.

  • I was not allowed to taste anything with added sugar.
As a result, I have no liking for it,
and it proved a great blessing for my health. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at January 23, 2018 3:52 AM MST

Sugar is totally useless, is it not?  At least the stuff that is not in fruit.
