If YOUR child told you that he/she had been touched in a way by someone that was uncomfotable would you believe your child or brush it off?

Would you call your child a liar or follow up and speak out and keep speaking out until someone did something?  What is wrong with human beings that allow abuse of any kind to go on and simply write it off as being fantasy? A disgrace. The human race. And it is getting worse. What people now normalize was not tolerated priorly. Once upon a time. Folks used to say "we're going to he** in a handbasket". Guess what folks? That's one cliche that's true. :(

I would believe my child and check it out.
I am happy to say that I got him thru his childhood  without anyone touching him.

To my utter horror some of the Olympic athletes said they told their parents and the parents didn't believe them. What a monstrous thing to do to your child. Parents are supposed to protect not neglect and certainly not enable  evil and very sick perps to have access to their kids in vile ways. I wish there were a way we could prevent such parents from ever having kids . Thank you for your reply Lulu'sMom! :)
