Thugs will eliminate the thinkers, given the opportunity and means to do so. You don't arrive at the same place because the thug creates problems. If they were eliminating problems, we wouldn't have to spend valuable time, energy and resources of the thinkers to operate courts, jails, prisons, drug rehab centers, hospitals etc., to say nothing of law enforcement on every level, counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors and so on ad infinitum. So what's the problem? Stand in a courtroom or a holding cell at a jail with a mass murderer, (As I have) and contemplate the problems that the thug has eliminated. Problems like innocent lives lost and families destroyed. I'll try to understand the connection between the thinker and the thug, as well as their methods, the next time we have a shooting spree in a public place.
