  • You can run a country through the consensus of elected representatives, but you'll never run a country by committee. I've sat on a couple of corporate boards and I know of what I speak. If in fact the job is bigger than the person holding it or aspiring to it, then maybe it's time to admit that it's out of the range of mortals and stop trashing the one that's doing it. If it's beyond the reach and understanding of all of us, then it really isn't reasonable to expect success.

    No.  It needs further definition.  If the village is run efficiently with all being respected and appreciated for what they can contribute, we have a great village.

    If it is usurped by the greedy, and the avaricious and the Prince of Lies, we have HELL.
