If Russia hacked into voter rolls in some states (which they did) how would you know if your name were removed until you showed up to vote?

Would that bother you? If they can hack voter rolls why can't they the votes and simply  change them? How far does the ability to hack into voting programs go ? No one is working on protecting us per the complete disinterest/denial of a prez so what's gonna happen in November if things keep going as they have been? Are yoyu FURIOUS that the powers that be remain silent and do nothing? The only folks who dare speak ae getting attacked for doing so. What's next? Stop voting since it makes no difference at all? Is that the goal?

    In MA we mark the ballots ourselves so could not be altered electronically.   Anyway I think any Russian meddling would be mostly just to embarrass us or make us look bad by contrast.  Look - if A Russian told you to vote for someone would you do it?  Doubt it.  As long as there are computers they will be a challenge for someone to hack for whatever reason.  Rather a shortcoming of a system which in other ways benefits us.

    So you have a nice name in ink.   What is to stop me from taking that name and counting it a second time?  Silly?  Ok.   

    What is there to stop me from being privvy to a device that changes the amount after they are all counted.  So, Sun City, AZ has 10,000 pro Trump votes.   But it has 20,000 pro Hillary.  What is to stop whatever machinations are in place from being screwed with so that the final count turns out to be 20,000 Trump and 10,000 Hillary.

    It would have to be traced.  Maybe there is no way to trace it.  Maybe it disappears when someone tries to go back and check it.   I am not a programmer and I am not a hacker.  But if I can think up these simple hair-brained ideas just off the cuff, I would think that a country hell bent on conquering any world power that is a threat to it like Russia, would have thought and plotted and planned  and bought some super spy hackers into their fold who have nothing better to do than think about how to control America through the ballot.

    The states who were compromised notified all voters to confirm if they were registered. (At least that is how IL did it)
