    No you get the same deal as the altitude.  And if you are in water it is called the Benz.  You don't want it.

    Any change in pressure can cause it, not just lover pressure, but also higher pressure.

    Why not just stay up there? I bet you could get paid for towing a banner or advertismen ove the fairgroungs or sports events. (but watch our for baseballs, they pack a mean punch)

    I had this at 11,000 ft once.  I really thought I would not make it. They had to take me down the mountain to a lower altitude.  It is a serious thing.
