    Both the cards & dominoes use no method to fasten them together.  In modern construction, fastening is key. When I built my current home, I used screws (rather than nails) to hold the framework together.  Yeah, it cost a few hundred dollars more, but the strength and stoutness are excellent.

    "When I built my current ho me....". You mean LITERALLY bh? You did it all by hand yourself or was that just figurative? You must have a fantastic workshop and all the tools and machines guys who are DIY fans have. Good for you! Good job. I would think using screws would take longer as well.     Back in 2001, I had this good paying part time job on the weekends. It took about 5 years to construct the house in my spare time that was mostly afternoons. I did have a buddy assist me with the garage floor.
