    Never played soccer, was a socker. Of other men. I boxed. Boxing is a legitimate sport, if a rather brutal one.

    Hahahahahahahahaha! We know he never would do that. That would take being curious about what's overhead which he isn't and a certain amount of energy which he likes to conserve which is why he NEVER exercises. SIGH. Whatta guy.     Men who hit anyone have to understand that we are not living in some hellish existence where animals rule and brute force is the way to express.

    I am not talking about defense here.  I am talking about throwing the first strike.

    You hit someone, you are out of control.  It is not glamorous and it does not mean you have courage.  It means you are an out of control bully or worse.

    That would suppose there is a mind there somewhere Sharon which is often debatable. So many of them react without thinking. A bundle of emotions and nothing else. The doofus don is a prime example of that. He has diarrhea of the mouth so he can't help himself. It must be an intestinal bacteria or something. Or it's like barfing. He just has to keep doing it and is not in control of it. So he defends the bullies because he is one of them. No doubt about it. Thank you for your reply. Another question cometh! :)

    Not a good practice to get into.  Not that I think we are somehow above an occasional sock. The old-style gentlemen would never strike us and that was good but you know it was because they held us as being "the weaker vessel" so it was really condescending.  But if it becomes a regular occurrence is not good for anyone and I would counsel removing yourself from the situation , kids and all.  Because then they are just doing it to assert their will over us because they know they can.  Which means something is wrong with THEM.
