Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Should political leaders be cheerful, upbeat, positive? Or would that make them targets for those who are cheerless/negative/downbeats?
Only if it is genuine. What I want is seriousness, honesty and skill. I'd like that combined with a genuine love for all mankind and a sincere desire to do nothing but good for one and all.
That would make me smile if I were a leader, at least on the inside where it counts.
This is a harsh thing to say but doofus don supporters would deport him in a heartbeat. His attire is strange. His religion is not theirs. His skin color is definitely not acceptable to them. He doesn't earn a living so he is a lazy welfare bum wanting handouts. I am glad that Gandhi lived when he did and where he did. He would not survive in the 21st century America of doofus don lovers. Not one of them would give him a crust of bread or a sip of water. Especially the "religious" ones among them. SIGH.
