Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» If you ACCENT THE POSITIVE, ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE how does the positive have any value? Don't you need contrast? Why?
You are taking this to an extreme it is not meant for.
No one says to eliminate anything that is not black. It is meant for those times in your life when you need a goal to focus on and not let anything stand in your way.
Things are not all as black and white as it seems Rosie......would you be more content if you had nothing to complain about....most all topic of conversations would be gone in a flash.....lol
I would LOVE to have no doofus don in my life D. I'm certain I could find many other topics of conversation. You requested that I cheerify my questions. Have you counted the ones I asked when I took you up on your challenge? I am not one-dimensional. I have many interests which I touch upon from time to time and no one is interested. Doesn't matter. I still ask. Please test me. Remove doofus don from the news and the White House and see how I fly higher and higher. You don't really think I LIKE recounting his evil deeds do you? Well I don't. Thank you for your reply D! :)
It's so nice to se the humouros side of you emerge from time to time Rosie.....
To much of anything is not so good either........if you lived in constant utopia ,life would become so boring ,a mixture of all things keep the status quo on an even keel....
if if no crimes ,big or small were ever committed would we need any police ? Millions would loose there jobs instantly I think.. no need fo armies ,weapons or munitions.....no need for the building like police stations plus the people that keep them running..
That was an old song. Long before I was born. I think good advice if we want to keep our sanity and live happy lives. Or course we have to understand that not everything in life will be positive. So we will have to deal with the negatives as well. But if we get hung up on the negatives we can get stuck and never be able to extricate ourselves.
