Does basking too long in the glory of success bring on failure faster? How long is too long and do you?

Basking does not do it for me.  I want to be successful and keep going.  I don't need to sit and glorify my success.  For what?  That is great if you have retired.  I cannot afford to retire.  I have not been all that successful so far.  I cannot count my successes in financial gain and that is the obstacle that rules me at present.

I find that if I expect success I have a chance.  If I just lay down and die, I will die.

Basking?   I don't see the lure. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at February 13, 2018 6:12 AM MST

I think it's very good/essential to visualize success Sharon. That's how I got through my bout with cancer. Despite the odds I was given I visualized getting through it and coming out on the other side. It's ten years cancer-free and counting. I don't bask in the success. I am grateful for it because I know that at any time it can return. I take life day by day and appreciate the he** out of it. Thank you for your reply! :)
