Watch the film called Battle For Sevastopol ......2015 ,Biopic of Lyudmila Pavlichenko...she was young Soviet women who became one of their deadliest WW11 snipers.......Amazing film and I got so emotionally drawn into watching it ..... it's a must watch film with very necessary violence in it Rosie....
She killed 300 or more German soldiers.....it's gory as such with blood and guts ......it tells her story in a quite honest way.....so sad her life as a young women.....she wisited America and was a guest of a presidents wife's... True story Rosie ....and totally engrossing....I wouldn't have watched it if I found it upsetting..
I avoid scary movies D. Scary Rides. I have a fear of heights too! I get nightmares or did as a kid. My best friend advised me against seeing Psycho years ago when it first came out. I didn't see it. I happened to see a scene on TV where the chair swivels around and what is sitting in it is incredibly shocking. I still see that in my mind's eye. That and of course the scene in the shower. I read that for months afterward people who took showers were always very apprehensive when they did. So if I find it I'll give it a try. I trust your judgment though I know me too and I think if I do watch it and it gets too gory I'll just stop watching. I know. At my age you'd think nothing would bother me. You'd think so. :(
There are scenes where people get shot.....but all from a distance...... I can't think of anything in it that would be to upsetting for you to to watch.......had many tears in my eyes as so much her hard life effected my thought....
I never watch horror films ,if any film has gratuitous violence in them I turn them off....l I have it it saved on sky....I'm going to watch it again today I think....
