Can a feeling/actuality of sexual inadequacy permeate an entire country? I mean is that why American men need so many guns?

The men in Australia gave guns up almost two decades ago. Are Australian men more secure about their manliness than American men? Something is going on in America that is very different from that in other countries. You can't blame the Constitution for that. It is something intrinsic in the people that promulgates the obsession with guns. Something illogical, unreasonable, unfathomable and tragic.

    Some men who do feel sexually inadequate would I think feel less powerful and so they might turn to guns to feel more powerful.  But I think more its just a traditional thing for men to involve themselves in - hunting and marksmanship and protecting themselves and their family.  They feel more authentic somehow and traditional using guns.
