Yes.  Doesn't everyone know there are a lot of Cubans in Miami?  In East-Central Florida a lot of them come from Mexico to work in agriculture. This post was edited by CallMeIshmael at February 21, 2018 9:19 PM MST

      Sí, pero la verdad, ¿qué quiere decir "a lot"?  ¿Cantidad?  ¿Porcentaje?  ¿Ratio?

I rarely hear anyone speaking Spanish where I live in Florida.  Why do you ask?

  • One, because Florida was originally a Spanish colony, two, because Miami is known for having an Hispanic-influenced accent, and three, Cuba is directly to the sout, and people speak Spanish in Cuba.

    Spanish speakers.

    Hmmm.....

People from Spain?   People from Spain who are speakers for a job?  Like Profession is Speaker?

Or do you mean anyone who speaks Spanish?    Do Mexicans not coiunt?   They speak mexicano and not the same Spanish as Spain.

There are a boatload (no pun) of Latinos in Florida.   You betcha.   Also a lot of people from the Islands.  The Cubans.  The Jamaicans.   The islands just south of Florida.

But I digress.  Yes. there are a lot of Spanish speakers down there.  Here are all of my Antonio Banderas pictures from god knows how long ago.....
