    Depends on how much revenge the person would take if they didn't like what you said.

    If they are a  hot head and quick to anger,  I say not a word.  

    Deafness comes in all kinds of forms.  I learned that at a very early age.  

    Buck up and keep your mouth shut until such time they can see past themselves.

    See what just happened? perfect example. So long for now.  Perhaps we can have a real talk

    one day without all the drama.

    I'm really at a loss here m'dear. It seems to me  if something is true for you then you would apply it to everyone with whom you speak...friend and foe alike. You don't switch up or switch off or switch out depending upon with whom you're talking. At least I don't. Apparently you are supposed to say what you think to non-friends but not to friends. That is really confusing to me. I try to be the same with everyone. I mean I say what I think but some folks frown on that. What do you think? Thank you for your reply MS! :)
