To whom do we owe the most...ourselves or others? Why? Isn't it most important to be true to whom you are? If you can't be that then how can you be counted on by anyone for anything?

I don't see why you have to choose. If you are one type of person among friends/family and another type of person around others then who are you? Why do your surroundings/environment control what you contribute/share/say? I don't get it. Do you?
